Description: Love Dog Adventure’s anti-bullying initiative targeting 6th-8th graders. This student-directed learning experience focuses discussion on tolerance and acceptance through the eyes of the animal. Students participate in literacy projects, open discussion, writing assignments and critical thinking. This course is conducted over two Saturdays, one per month with assignments to be done at home in between.
Student must attend both sessions to “graduate”.
Free, donations accepted. 6th-8th graders.
Sue Grundfest and Love Dog Adventures are dedicated to inspiring physical and emotional healing through the use of interactive animal-assisted therapy and community education with the aid of Delta Society Pet Partner animal-assisted therapy teams. All educational and instructional programming will promote the critical connection between human and pets.
