Angela Kleven

Angie Kleven lives in Las Vegas, Nevada and spends her days (and nights) raising three fabulous children as a single parent. Her days are filled with homeschooling, working from home as a self-employed medical transcriptionist, mentoring a US History and Government class for a local Commonwealth, volunteering in various church organizations, actively participating in a local homeschool support group, and doing everything else that motherhood entails. She has attended both Ricks College and BYU-Provo, but ironically, her true education has primarily occurred as she has educated her own children! Angie has developed and honed extensive administrative and managerial skills through prior employment as an office manager and executive assistant, as well as leading a variety of volunteer groups through church and homeschool organizations. In the rare moments that she has spare time, she fills it with reruns of “I Love Lucy,” reading classic literature, learning a new piano piece, and visiting friends and family. Educational choice, specifically homeschooling, is her passion, and the creation of RISE Resource Center is the fulfillment of a dream!
