Become A Volunteer
As a non-profit we are dedicated to keeping costs low for classes and events. How can we do that? By using volunteers!
We have a few different options for volunteers:
Family/Group Volunteer*
Your entire family/group can volunteer at the facility or for a one time event or project
Adult Volunteer*
If you are 18 or older you can volunteer at the facility or for a one time event or project
Teen Volunteer
If you are a teen you are also welcome to teach a class or volunteer your time
Instructor Volunteer*
If you have a passion or knowledge of a certain topic and love to share that with others, we encourage you to volunteer as an instructor under RISE. You can teach a one-time event, or an ongoing class. Please prepare a title and blurb about your offering, along with age range most appropriate and supply cost if necessary. We’d love to hear from you.
*Please note that if you are 18 years or older and wish to volunteer at RISE Resource Center, Inc. or for any RISE sponsored event or project, you will be required to get a background check prior to volunteer service being approved. Background checks can be obtained at a local police substation or on our website through a verified background checking company. The fee for this background check is $10 and is good for 3 years.
